Wishing a happy 4th of July to all of our Franklin families! Hope you’re all having a great summer! 😎
HUGE thanks to all of our Franklin families for working with us to ensure a great school year for our students! We appreciate everyone working with us through the many challenges this year presented and we feel so lucky that we were able to be on-site with students for the entire school year! We’re already missing those smiling faces and we’re looking forward to seeing them in the fall! Best of luck to our 4th grade class as they move on to the middle school. They’re a great bunch of kids and will be missed but we know they’ll do great! Have a great, safe summer!
Reminder:
Online students are scheduled to return Chromebooks and other supplies on Monday, June 7 from 10-12 at Franklin. Any other students who need to return Chromebooks, supplies or library books can also do so at that time. Please contact the Franklin office if there are any questions.
Mr. Hilmer challenged our students to raise money for the Kids Heart Challenge to support the American Heart Association. Our students rose to the challenge and raised over $3,000! The student in each grade that raised the most money got to pie Mr. Hilmer in the face at lunch today! Big thanks to Mr. Hilmer for being a good sport and to our students for supporting a great cause!
Congratulations to our students who received Kid of Character certificates the last 2 weeks and to all of our students for demonstrating positive character traits!

Reminder: Tomorrow is field day and we have some water activities planned. Please send an extra set of dry clothes to school for students to change if needed. 😎
Congratulations to our students who received Kid of Character certificates today at lunch and got to make someone’s day with a free ice cream cone! 🍦
Franklin Families:
Please see below for information about our upcoming field day. Please note that families are asked not to attend field day this year due to continued concerns with large gatherings and all mitigating measures still being in place, other than masks. We understand this is disappointing and a change from past years but ask our families to please respect this decision. We're hoping next year will be back to normal!
Field day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25. Our plan (weather permitting) is to do some water activities. Students will need to bring a change of clothes with them so they have dry clothes when field day is over. If the weather on May 25 is really bad, our makeup date will be May 27. We’ll communicate with families if there’s a need to change the date due to weather. Unfortunately, parents and other visitors will not be invited to field day this year due to continued concerns with large gatherings at this time. We understand this is different from past years but ask families to support us in this decision. We’ll do our best to post lots of pictures and videos on social media so families can see all of the fun our students are having. Please remember to send an extra set of clothes on Tuesday!
