You may have heard that the CDC has changed the recommendation for quarantine. At this time, if your child is quarantined due to close contact, they will now be required to quarantine for a minimum of 10 days rather than 14. With this change, as long as students are fever free for 24 hours and symptom free, they will be able to return to school after 10 days have elapsed. If your child is currently in quarantine, you will be contacted with your new date of return. We will continue to provide updated information as we receive further guidance from Boone County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health.
