The district is proposing building a new Early Childhood Center to meet the current and future needs of our students. A new Early Childhood Center would provide the following:

• Improved learning environment for students  

• Safer environment for students via a more secure entrance and exits, improved accessibility and ADA compliant facilities 

• Safer pick up and drop off opportunities as the new site will have a parking lot and thru drop off and pick up lanes 

• Greater maintenance and professional development efficiencies 

• Allow for expanding populations and increased programming opportunities (i.e. daycare) 

• Greater flexibility in supporting district educational needs  

• Provide an additional gymnasium and spaces for community use such as, but not limited to: Special Olympics, AAU teams, Winter ball practice, fitness classes, open gyms
