3rd & 4th Grade Parents:
Reminder that students will be doing ISASP testing this week. 4th grade will start on Monday and 3rd grade will start on Tuesday. Please make sure your student gets good rest and eats a good breakfast so they're ready to do their best. We're excited for our students to show what they've learned this year!
Congratulations to our students who received Character Strong certificates at lunch on Friday!
Reminder: Today is an early release day for teacher professional development. Franklin students will be dismissed at 1:05.

4th grade is taking on some STEM challenges today!
Franklin Families: As most of you know the tornado sirens went off earlier today due to a storm cell that was passing through and some tornado activity south of Boone, moving north. Our students and staff moved quickly and stayed in tornado-ready positions for about 25 minutes until the warning was lifted and the storm cell passed. The sirens went off during 4th grade lunch so we adjusted lunch schedules a little to give everyone enough time to eat. Our students did an amazing job of moving quickly to their tornado areas and they followed directions really well, just like we practice in our drills. Our staff provided comfort and support to any students who were upset until we were able to resume our normal schedule. All students and staff are safe and sound! We will be staying inside this afternoon due to the current tornado watch that's in effect until 6:00 pm.
Come and get your glow on this Thursday! 4:30 - 6:00 at the Franklin gym! As a reminder, this is an event for elementary students and families only. Middle school students are asked to skip the glow stick dance. Hope to see lots of our families there!
3rd & 4th Grade Parents:
