Please note, elementary students are expected to sit with their parents and be supervised at all times during the games. Parents should NOT drop elementary students off at the game and leave them or allow them to run around during the game.

Next week is homecoming week and we like to have our Franklin students be part of the celebration! Please see the attached document for a list of Franklin spirit days. Students are not required to dress for spirit days so no need to stress if they don't have anything for a specific theme.

Today is an early release for teacher professional development. Franklin students will be dismissed at 1:05.
We had our first character assembly of the year on Friday! We wrapped up our Kindness Kickoff week and introduced our first character trait of the month: Respect. We ended with a minute to win it competition with the staff and our kids loved it! Thanks to all of our staff who were willing to have fun with the assembly!
High 5 Friday was a great way to start the day! Shout out to Coach Sandquist and the Bears for stopping by! We appreciate your support of our kids!

We had an AMAZING first week of school! It started with an "expectation rotation" where students rotated around and learned the expectations in our different common areas (lunchroom, restroom, recess, hallways, etc). Teachers did some community building with their homerooms for our Kindness Kickoff and the week ended with a visit from the DMACC basketball team for "high 5 Friday" and our first ever character assembly. It's going to be a great year! 💚❤️
