Boone Community School District

The Boone Endowment Foundation is an organization that has distributed over $575,000 to the Boone Community School District to fund programs and projects that benefit students' education. They recently announced a Fareway Giving Campaign for the month of December. For every donation, Fareway will match it up to $5,000! ​Boone County Public Health is offering two Covid Vaccine Clinics for children ages 5 to 11. If you are interested in registering your child please call Boone County Public Health at 515-432-1127. Please see the attached flyer for further details.

As we come back from break, our food service department wishes to give thanks with a grateful heart for all of our district families and students. Would you believe we served 1,467 meals for Thanksgiving? We prepared 500 pounds of Turkey, 655 pounds of Mashed Potatoes, 310 pounds of Green Beans, 295 pounds of Stuffing, 50 gallons of Gravy, and 1,467 Pumpkin Bars and Dinner Rolls! We love what we do!!

The Boone Board of Education voted this evening to implement a mask mandate on Monday, September 27th for grades PK-8. We will be providing more guidance regarding this topic by the end of the week. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation and understanding.
