She went on to embark on a career in supply chain management after earning her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. Over the years, she has worked with Land O’Lakes as an Agronomy Service Center manager, and is now a distribution specialist.
In 2022, Jaslyn purchased Behn’s Centre of Dance in Boone and renamed it Studio Jas Dance & Tumbling. She also served on the school board at Trinity Lutheran, the board of directors for a nonprofit counseling service in Ames, and was formerly a Clover Kids Club leader for Hardin County.
“There are so many teachers who impacted my life in various ways: Senora Frank, Mrs. Carpenter, and Mrs. Dupuis are three of my favorites,” Jaslyn says. “They guided me through tough times and pushed me to do more than what I thought possible. They were always patient and made a lasting impact on my life.”
Thanks for sharing your memories and achievements, Jaslyn!
