Transportation
The Boone Community School District provides transportation services by busing students school to school.
Transportation by school bus is provided for children at the school’s expense for those who live more than two miles from the High School located at 500 Seventh Street or students who go to the Middle School located at 1640 1st Street. School bus transportation is solely for those children who are eligible to ride. Parents of children, or the children themselves, who live within the two-mile limit, should not request permission to use the school bus for any purpose. In-town shuttle buses are available for students who are required to attend classes in a building other than their neighborhood attendance center.
